Yoga
This classical style yoga class systematically works the entire body, stretching muscles, building foundational strength, detoxing internal organs, stimulating the glandular systems, and challenging the cardiovascular system. This 90 minute class is appropriate for beginners and more experienced students alike. It is truly a complete mind-body work-out. Your focus will improve, your mind will become clear, your body will detox and you will feel as if you are floating out of class. Spinning
These traditional indoor cycling classes offer a non-impact, highly effective way to build cardiovascular strength and endurance. Designed for all levels, these classes offer a challenging opportunity to get your heart pumping, burn serious calories and leave you with a feeling of accomplishment and perhaps a desire to be out on the road.
Kickboxing
Kickboxing blends athletic drills with martial arts to create an intense cardiovascular workout. You can burn as many as 500 calories in a one-hour class and achieve a total body workout.
A typical kickboxing class begins with a five- to 10-minute warm-up that involves large muscle movements to increase blood flow and heat up the muscles. The main portion of the class involves combinations of punches and kicks that are usually repeated multiple times to ensure mastery. Class concludes with a three- to five-minute cool-down that involves static stretching of the hips, shoulders and core.
Aqua Zumba
Aqua Zumba is a safe, effective, and challenging water-based workout that integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness. Don’t be fooled, this is not your normal aqua class. The moves are intense. Remember, you will be moving your bodies for 45 or 60 minutes against the resistance of water. The movements are challenging and you can really feel the muscles working against the resistance; Latin dance rhythms that are incorporated into this class. Exercise movements include hamstring curls, Zumba shuffle, kicking, twisting and clapping.
Zumba
Zumba Fitness is a global lifestyle brand that fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into an exhilarating dance-party workout. Coined “fitness-parties,” Zumba classes blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, which provide effective, total-body workouts.
Shaolin Kung Fu
Students of Shaolin Kung Fu are taught to concentrate on developing their technique, rather than just focusing on improving their physical strength. During a Shaolin Kung Fu class, Dayana will teach you to master a number of different movements, as well as how to link them together so that they flow naturally. Movements include punches, kicks, blocking, footwork, joint locks and throws – all key forms of self-defence. You’ll be ready to hold your own in no time.
